These pizza pockets air fryer recipes are ready in few minutes. Good for breaky lunch or dinner. This delicious recipe is a part of a twist on the regular fathead dough you’re probably used to.

Ingredients required for homemade pizza pockets :

Dough pizza pocket recipe  / pita pocket recipes :

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 5 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1packet instant yeast
  • 3eggs (2 for dough,1 for egg wash)
  • Salt, additional seasoning to taste

Filling:

  • 1/4 cup mozzarella or cheddar
  • 7 slices pepperoni
  • 4 tbsps.cooked Italian sausage
  • 2 tbsps.feta

Garnish:

  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan
  • 1 tbsp.butter
  • 1 tsp.Italian seasoning

How to make homemade hot pockets pizza recipe :

    1. In the first step of pita pocket recipes preheat your oven to 400 degrees and take a baking sheet or grease with oil/butter parchment paper.
    2. Take a large bowl and add almond flour, xanthan gum, yeast, and seasoning. Mix together with hand mixer till well combined. And then add 2 beaten eggs and whisk well.
    3. Take a medium bowl and add mozzarella and cream cheese and melt it for 25 to 30 seconds in the oven or till it has melted properly.
    4. Once melted properly, add it to flour and egg mixture scraping the sides down.
    5. With wet hands press mixture for 5 to 10 minutes till well combined.
    6. By using wet hands, separate the dough into 4 balls.
    7. Roll the dough balls into fancy shapes and making a small dent in the middle.
    8. Fill the dough with your choice of ingredients and gently close the molding dough around the ingredients.

        1. Now brush it with egg wash.
        2. Now place these rolls on parchment paper and bake them for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees or till the toothpick comes out clean.
        3. Take a saucepan over medium-high heat and melt butter on it and remove the saucepan and mix with Italian seasoning to brush over each pizza pocket.
        4. Now, sprinkle with parmesan.
